!!This Howto works only with Fedora Core 4!! There are nVidia driver RPM packages provided by livna.org. The easiest way to install those RPMs is to add livna.org to yum repository. 1.) Add livna to /et/yum.repos.d/ rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release4.rpm This package contains the yum-configuration and the gpg-key for the rpm.livna.org repository. 2.) Install driver and Kernel module yum install nvidia-glx kernel-module-nvidia-$(uname -r) "uname -r" returns the version number of your current kernel, so make sure that you install the new Nvidia driver before you do a kernel update!
